Pick Your Own  Rules & Pricing

Our  fields will be open daily with great strawberry picking beginning daily at 9 am, (except Sunday 10 am) and will remain open until the ripe strawberries are sold out for the day, or 4 pm, Sunday 3 pm.  As always come early for best picking.

Stop at the store to pay your minimum, and get you picking tray. Bring your own containers or purchase a PYO Tray for $1.00, or smaller container for $.25

Please meet and ask question with our field staff and always pick in designated rows as instructed by our staff.

Please walk down each row before moving the next row.  When picking strawberries and raspberries, Do not Cross across rows, it damages our plants and berries.

Strawberries are found under the leaves and are hard to see just walking along.  Get down and move aside the leaves for the ripe berries. We understand that some people want only large berries, but that is not always possible.  Most plants have as few as 1 large berry per plant.  Strawberries come in various sizes large, medium and small.  Small berries taste as wonderful as large berries.

Raspberries are found at the top of the canes.  Canes can be tall and short.  Raspberry canes are very delicate.  Do not pull the canes, because the canes  will break and we will all lose.  Gently push the canes aside when reaching into the patch for berries.  Unless picking black raspberries, only pick on the red berries. Raspberry canes have fine scratchers not pickers like wild berry canes.

Blueberries are found everywhere on the bush.  You can pull on blueberry limb.  They will not break.  Pick only Blue as red and green will be very sour.  Blueberries turn blue before they sweeten.  Feel free to taste a blueberry on the bush; if it is sour (All berries on that bush will be sour) find another bush.  Please stay in picking zone, the patch is large and we zone ripe berries for your picking ease.

Please, no running, berry throwing, or rough housing in our fields. We want everyone to have a great time picking.
